Are you feeling stressed out or anxious? Are you going through a life transition or struggling within your career or relationships? As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker within the state of Connecticut, I can help you on your journey. I have been working within the mental health field for a total of 14 years providing supportive, strengths-based and solution-focused counseling services. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I bring strong experience as a clinician and clinical supervisor working with a range of adults, adolescents, children, families, groups, and couples. My areas of expertise include self-esteem, career, stress, anxiety, intimacy/relationships, anger, and grief and loss related issues. In addition to my passions of counseling clients and supervising clinicians, I have also enjoyed teaching online masters level social work courses as well as facilitating a support group for mothers of young children within my hometown. In my spare time I can be found spending quality time with family and friends, going on walks/hikes/bike rides, redecorating my house, playing word games, doing puzzles, and reading.
I will often be checking in with you to assess how you feel the therapeutic process is going and to find out if you are receiving what you need from me. I genuinely hope that you choose me to walk with you on your life journey, I am here to support you in taking those brave steps toward a happier and more fulfilling life!
Sincerely,
Rebecca

Rebecca is the best therapist I’ve had. Her kind, understanding, and non-judgmental approach helped me to open up and process the things that had been keeping me stuck and in unhealthy patterns. She has great expertise in relationships, healthy communication, and always made me feel understood and gaining the tools to be a healthier version of myself and to have healthier relationships. My life is completely different since starting counseling with her, and I am so grateful for her support, which was instrumental in building the life I have now. Highly recommend her.

I started with a different counselor and I just didn’t click with them, and I am so thankful I switched to Rebecca. She is very knowledgeable and goal-oriented. She is kind and upbeat and I feel better after talking to her.

I have had two different counselors/therapist on BetterHelp before Rebecca. Rebecca is the first counselor I feel like I can actually relate to. I have finally opened up about things, that I haven’t told anyone. I don’t feel judged. I feel safe and it’s very comforting to know. I can say whatever I am feeling and she offers me support and ask questions to dig deeper, she isn’t always trying to give me a solution. Thank you Rebecca!

I'm very pleased with the support Rebecca has shown me. She's attentive and is working on understanding what I'm going through and has offered to help me start to work on things by being specific about what is currently happening and what has happened in the past that got me here. I'm very grateful to be in such good hands. I feel like we have been best friends for years. I feel so comfortable telling her anything and everything. So grateful for this!

Rebecca is smart, caring, insightful, and compassionate. She is able to focus in on key elements that help me to gain a greater perspective on my life and also to help me to tap into my emotions. She has a gentle, safe way of helping me to access my emotions and is able to provide support and tools for me to deal with my feelings more effectively. I've spent about 1.5 weeks working with Rebecca and have already battled some very significant action items in my life. I am nowhere near healed, but I do have some hope that it is possible.
Rebecca is very supportive of what I need and I feel like she asks good questions and is taking my responses seriously in order to give me the "right" kind of counseling. I look forward to her emails each day as a means to keep myself moving forward in life. Extremely satisfied with her work!!
Written on Jan 26, 2018 after therapy with Rebecca for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship, self esteem, and anger
Rebecca has been very sweet and supportive as I unloaded all my fears and anxieties. She always makes a point to say "what I hear you saying is..." and then describes what she believes I am trying to convey, so that I always know the impression I am giving her and if she is understanding what I am trying to convey. That's very helpful when talking to someone through messaging to make sure you are on the same page.
