About me

I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan and New Jersey. I have over 12 years experience in working with children, adults, families and individuals (including the LGBT community) seeking support on a variety of levels. A few of my preferred theoretical approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solutions Based Counseling. However, I have found that tailoring a treatment plan to the specific needs and concerns of each person is important for progress.

I have experience in working with clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, transitional life challenges, family systems and relational concepts. I look forward to working with you and appreciate and respect your decision to pursue and engage in this counseling experience!

I've been working with Regina for a few years now, and I am so lucky to have her as a therapist. She is kind, compassionate, understanding, and truly listens to me. She has helped me navigate a variety of personal and professional challenges during our time together, and I am a better version of myself from her guidance.

Regina is such a thoughtful and patient listener, I always appreciate her insight in anything I bring to her. She’s helping me through so much between family, relationship, and work situations. I feel like I’ve already gained so much mental and emotional strength from being able to talk to her. She always offers practical advice and tips, and is willing to meet me where I’m at to help me move forward. I highly recommend her expertise!

Regina was my therapist for about 2 years, and she was absolutely phenomenal. The only reason I stopped was because she helped get me to a place where I felt I could use the tools I'd learned in therapy on my own. If I do decide I need to jump back in, I'd go right back to Regina.

She is a wonderful, nonjudgmental listener - she knows how to let you work out the thoughts on your own and also chime in with reflections when necessary. She is very diligent with notes and remembers lots of details from our sessions, so that when we reflect back on them at later dates, she can build on the context. I always leave the sessions feeling validated, while also having extra guidance to push me to develop myself and my emotions further. She's also great at noting specific topics that come up from our sessions and sharing extra worksheets/readings afterward - for example, she proactively shared guidance on grieving when we discussed the passing of my grandparents.

I've always felt so comfortable sharing my feelings with Regina - whether it's feelings of anger, anxiety, or just a need to cry - and she always makes me feel empowered to handle how I am feeling. It's amazing that she is able to do so all through a computer screen.

I could not recommend Regina more highly. If you are like me and struggle with things like anxiety, family relationships, setting boundaries, etc., she will help you get to a much better place if you're willing to put in the work.
