About me

Hello, my name is Rene' Morago-Barton. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from UWF and a Master is Clinical Psychology & Counseling from Troy State University in Troy, AL. I have worked in different settings for therapy to gain a insite into and experience with a range of different people in all situations in life. Whether that be in agency, in patient and private practice settings to understand where people are at. I use cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing with a solution focused therapy that is client centered. I have experience working with individuals whom struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and history of trauma. They also sometimes experience or have negative self-talk, low self-esteem, mood instability, substance use, irrational beliefs, and racing or overwhelming thoughts. I enjoy working with families in transition or blended family issues. I am here to meet you where you are at and help you achieve your goals for counseling.

She listens and gives ideas and ways to try new things. She understands things that I have been through so she can help me get through them. She is really good!
