Reynie Sandoval, LCSW
About me
Hi, I’m Reynie (pronounced Renny). I’ve been providing mental health therapy in various capacities over the past twenty-five years. I’m committed to sharing skills that can enhance long-term well-being and life satisfaction. I’m also committed to simply providing warmth, acceptance, and compassion in gaining understanding of you, in order to help you in the ways that will be most effective for you.
In providing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, my aim is to assist you in learning and applying skills that can help you in day-to-day difficulties and also provide you with an opportunity to heal from deeper core issues that continue to affect your overall functioning. I hope to help you understand your pain, accept it for what it is, and build confidence so you can continue to make healthy choices that will contribute to your well-being and life satisfaction. I will also provide a listening ear. I’ll have to do some talking, of course, but there are times you may just need to be heard and feel understood.
I also utilize other types of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, REBT, and EMDR. I work with people suffering from various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, LGBTQ issues/acceptance, OCD tendencies, and faith transitions/trauma, to name a few.
In my free time I enjoy being present with my loved ones, creating and playing music, watching sports, and engaging in my fulfilling career.
