About me

I am a New Jersey based licensed professional counselor, with seventeen years in the mental health profession, and 40 years of helping individuals, couples, and families to emotional and relational wholeness. I have worked extensively with clients on depression, anxiety, multiple and varied family crises, relationship issues, personal development and emotional issues including anger management, self-doubt, and low self esteem. I have also assisted clients with phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder.

My counseling approach is a mix of cognitive-behavioral and person centered therapies. However, I have employed aspects of narrative, attachment, and psychodynamic theories at various times because each client is different, with varied strengths, comfort levels, and life perceptions.

Finally, I aim to provide genuineness and acceptance first and skill second, because I believe clients need and deserve an environment in which their trust can thrive.

I am at your service!
