About me

Welcome, Brave Soul!
I believe nowadays we all receive the message to feel good, be successful in our job, be fit and manage our life, our children and relationships well. If we don’t feel that well, finding our everyday life a chain of challenges and not able to cope all the time, that can make us believe that we failed. Asking for help in this situation is very hard. So that’s why I think you are brave, because you have just decided to take a step and make changes for a happier and more balanced life. This process can be challenging but luckily there are people who help you on your way. If you honour me with your trust I can be one of them and can make your journey easier.
My name is Rita I am an English/Hungarian speaking, UK registered counselling psychologist. I have experience in helping clients with family problems, stress and anxiety, coping with life changes, somatisation and I helped people who simply felt they got stuck with their personal or work lives or relationships. My approach is based on coaching, family systems theory, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy.
My main and only aim has always been to help people who turned to me and I do it in a respectful and client-centred way. My style during our helping discussions is interactive, warm, personal and quite eclectic. I tailor my approach to you, the person who is an expert of your own story. We work together to find your goals and your strengths that will help you to reach these goals.
I look forward to speaking with you!

Please note *** I do not provide legal/court documentation, diagnosis, assessment, or treatment reports, or letters for ANY clinically-related purpose, clients who need such things will need to see an in-person provider.

I have only had a few sessions with Rita but I have found them to be incredibly helpful. Rita is very warm and understanding whilst also giving constructive feedback and setting clear goals for me to work towards after each session.
I felt comfortable talking with her pretty much immediately and have come away from each session feeling that I have made progress.
I would highly recommend her as a therapist.

Rita truly embodies what it means to be a compassionate therapist. She listens deeply, understands my struggles, and reformulates my thoughts in a way that stimulates clarity within myself. Her kindness and warmth shine through in every session, creating an atmosphere where I felt completely at ease. After each session, I experienced a sense of release and openness. Rita’s compassionate approach allowed me to cultivate a deeper trust in myself and to embrace acceptance in my journey. I walked away feeling reassured and comforted, as if I was finally "okay" with who I am and my surroundings and existing relationships.

When I was dealing with anxiety, doubt and confusion about life, family and friend dynamics, Rita helped me navigate my feelings, offering insights that allowed me to see the situation from a new perspective. Her guidance fostered a sense of 'being okay' in and with myself, which has been transformative. She created a safe space for me to express my thoughts and emotions without judgment. I am incredibly grateful for her support on this journey.

The safe space she has created is where I can explore my feelings without fear of judgment. I am incredibly grateful for the transformative experience Rita provides, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking healing and understanding.
