About me

Robert Kiser MT-BC, NCC, LPC, ALPS, EMDR-T, NPT-C

Hi there! I'm a licensed psychotherapist practicing in South Carolina and West Virginia. My academic journey took me through Radford University and West Virginia University. I'm also the owner of SuperPsyched Solutions, LLC, my virtual private practice dedicated to providing accessible and specialized mental health care to individuals across South Carolina and West Virginia.

I have a passion for integrating psychoneurological approaches into psychiatric care. I'm particularly skilled at helping clients navigate issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, recovering from trauma and adverse experiences, PTSD, Functional Neurological Symptom Disorder, dissociation, somatization, phobias, grief, ADHD, and building self-esteem – to name just a few areas I address.

My commitment is to offer you a therapeutic space built on respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Your journey is unique, and your therapy will be too, completely tailored to your specific goals. It takes bravery to seek support for a happier life, and I'm here to walk alongside you. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly, describing my style as direct but easygoing, with a good dose of humor.

Get ready to learn a lot about yourself in therapy – exploring your past, present, and what's possible for your future. This deep dive is truly where the magic happens. While our time together might pass quickly, you'll likely find yourself processing and learning new things between sessions. Therapy can be demanding at times, both mentally and emotionally, but these challenges often signal significant progress and growth. Remember, you are the expert on your own life, and you are always in the driver's seat of your treatment.

Robert has been such a blessing to have as a therapist. He is so knowledgeable and eager to help me. His vast expertise with CBT and EDMR have helped me turn my life around. I’m so grateful that I was matched so well with someone like him. He’s a treasure.
My favorite thing about him is his vibrant personality. We usually find something to laugh about in session and that leaves me feeling hopeful and encourages me to continue.
