He isn't one of those "...and how did that make you feel?" kind of therapists.
He's interpersonable and I find him interesting to interact with.

Dr Spaulding has a beautiful process and approach in engaging with us from a therapist-to-client relationship. It is not typical, which is what you need if you are looking for a therapist who can be empathetic to your experience, which means, they have been in your shoes vs responding with psychological teachings. He has a wise mind, taking in the emotional and intellectual sides of life and teachings, with enhanced self-awareness. I have completed my 3rd session and have been able to walk away w more insight on “why do I do what I do” with a humbled ego. Thank you Dr Spaulding. Appreciate what you bring to therapy and for patients.

Dr. S was great to talk to. It’s said hot to judge a book by its cover, I wasn’t so confident at first meet up…wasn’t sure our ideology would match up but I was quickly reassured he was going to be helpful. Sometimes a different perspective is needed and we both embraced this in our sessions. Dr. S gave me confidence in myself, my thoughts and feelings. Today I have little to no questions on what I needed from therapy. Despite a relatively short relationship with Dr. S, I would recommend him and would want to rematch with his expertise. Thank you Dr. much love and appreciation to you.

Didn’t really like him too much. Wouldn’t consider him to be a Christian counselor. Didn’t cater to my personal needs or seem to care much about me. Got on the phone in the middle of a session. He does the talking most of the time and seems to go off a set blueprint instead of cater to the individual.

this is my first time doing any type of therapy, and Dr. Spalding has made it very pleasant. I was probably very tense at the beginning of our first session, but by the end I was more relaxed and comfortable with talking freely. I struggle everyday but what gets me through is knowing I have a therapist who is attuned into my needs & will do whatever it takes to get me & my mental health back where it needs to be. I'm very grateful to have him as my therapist.

Dr. Spaulding is a great therapist to have in your corner. I felt from the beginning that he truly cares and has patients best interests at heart. Very kind, non-judgmental, listens and is Very good at giving encouragement. I tried therapy years ago for an isolated incident, and while it was helpful, I never felt the same personal relationship I've had with Dr. Spaulding. He has been a great match for me, has helped me so much, and has been a great cheerleader for my continuing improvement with some of my issues. Highly recommend him, and he has credentials for all kinds of areas of mental health issues. He has truly been a gift to me!

Dr. Spaulding has been fantastic so far. I have tried therapy before, but Dr. Spaulding has taken me deeper in two sessions to address the root cause of my anxiety than my other therapist did in 15 sessions. I am so glad that I got matched with him. I appreciate all that he has already done, and I look forward to our continued work together.

Though I've only just begun this journey, I have a lot of respect for Dr. Spaulding and his rich experience and professional credentials. I also like the fact that he comes from a different background and upbringing from myself because this, too, adds a layer of perspective which I find beneficial to the sessions. He is patient and kind, and he is clearly passionate about helping others, so I feel lucky to have been matched with him.

Dr. Spaulding has truly helped open my eyes to things that were affecting me that I didn’t even realize. I’m putting to practice what he’s teaching me and I would be wrong to say I’m not seeing change because I am!! I understand that I have to be willing to put in the work but his lessons are impeccable!
