Rochae Torrence, LCSW
About me
Hi, I’m Rochae, and thank you for being here.
Finding the right therapist can feel like a big decision, so I’m honored you’re taking a moment to learn a little about me. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, looking for support, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, I’m glad you’re here.
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be fully themselves without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that they have to face life’s challenges alone. Asking for help isn’t always easy, and my goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported from our very first conversation.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with several years of experience as a Mobile Crisis Clinician, supporting adults through some of life’s most challenging moments. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, overwhelming stress, grief, suicidal crises, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. These experiences have taught me the importance of meeting people where they are with compassion, empathy, and hope.
I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, stress, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, uncertain about your next step, or simply looking for a place where you can speak openly without fear of judgment, you don’t have to face it alone.
I believe therapy is a partnership built on trust, honesty, and collaboration. My role isn’t to tell you what to do or to have all the answers. Instead, I’m here to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop practical tools that support the life you want to create. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy, always remembering that no two people or their stories are the same.
I know opening up can feel vulnerable, especially if this is your first experience with therapy. My hope is that you’ll find our sessions to be a place where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. I believe meaningful change is possible, and sometimes the hardest part is simply taking the first step.
Whenever you’re ready, I’ll be here to support you.
