About Me

I have been a mental health counselor, therapist and educator for over 40 years. I have developed skills in hearing what matters most to clients and helping individuals, couples, and families reach their goals for improved functioning in relationships, at home and at work. I truly believe each client can access their own assets to bring the best part of themselves forward at the proper time. I try to keep abreast of the exciting new research and developments in our expanding knowledge of the human condition. While not able to prescribe, I try to be aware of any brain chemistry issues that could be addressed to help reach our therapy goals. Let's discover who you are and what you truly want. We'll help you achieve it. In addition to my counseling practice, I have been an Approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, an educator for New and Expectant Fathers, a teen sex educator, a consensus community facilitator, and a crisis-line trainer.
