Roger Pawlak, LMHC
About me
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 15 years of clinical experience. I am a grounded and compassionate therapist who walks alongside Veterans, couples, and individuals navigating the weight of trauma, grief, and disconnection. Drawing from both professional expertise and life experience, I specialize in helping people move through PTSD, anxiety, and relational wounds with care, clarity, and purpose.
In our work together, you’ll find a non-judgmental space where your story is honored. Whether you’re carrying the invisible wounds of service, rebuilding trust in your relationship, or seeking emotional balance in your daily life, we’ll approach it together—step by step. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is deeply trauma-informed, centered on safety, respect, and empowerment. I aim to help you reconnect with your values, strengthen your resilience, and find healing that resonates not just in your mind, but in your relationships, purpose, and spiritual life—if that’s part of your journey.
You don’t have to carry it all alone. Whether you’re ready to break cycles, rebuild trust, or rediscover your strength, I’m here to support you. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, connection, and wholeness—on your terms, at your pace.
Let’s start your journey toward change—together.

He is a wonderful and honest person with a lot of integrity and experience. He always checks in as a reminder to schedule my next appointment. He levels with me and isn’t afraid to tell me where I can improve my behaviour and sides with me when I need validation. Also Roger has a sarcastic wit, which makes the sessions enjoyable and funny. I highly recommend him.
