About me
If you are reading this, then congratulations to you! This step can be difficult for most of us, but you are here, doing it!
I am a marriage and family therapist who has been in practice over the last 8 years. I have worked in non-profit and community mental health agencies, as well as private practice. I have experience working with children and adolescents, families, individuals, and couples, of all ages and ethnicities, but I have focused on adult populations mostly over the last 5 years. My goal when working with clients is to help them achieve their best quality of life. I do this by highlighting the client’s strengths and assist them in navigating through their challenges, in a collaborative approach.
I am here to work with you and towards the goals that you have for yourself. Although I am the expert in the therapy "room", you are the expert of your life, and I choose to respect each person's preferences and pace that I work with. My approach is eclectic where I use emotional focused therapy along with other modalities as Cognitive behavioral therapy, and Narrative therapy. I will tailor your treatment to your needs, as I utilize an individualized approach.
Taking steps towards change is not easy for most of us. Once you are ready to make that step , I will be here to support you !
Looking forward to working with you
