About me

Hello, my name is Roosevelt J. Jordan, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been a professional helper for more than 30 years and have worked with diverse populations and age groups. As a professional helper, I am convinced that the key to life is relating to self and others. Therefore, my first objective when establishing a professional caring relationship is to build trust. I accomplish this through empathetic and active listening. Also, I believe all individuals are spiritual beings and the whole person must be considered in order to support and help others heal and live better. The strength of my professional caring is my life experiences and intuition; not discounting my professional development.

It’s very calming to know I have an ally in this world called life. It’s been a couple of years now, and I appreciate someone who hears and processes and helps me navigate a Christian response. I can’t know what my outcome would have been, but I am still learning how to continue and make a difference in those that I love, with boundaries Thank you.,

Roosevelt Jordan is a kind and compassionate professional. After only one session, I felt I was on the right path of processing my grief. He was able to get to the heart of the matter quickly and he explained that grief is not a straight line. He followed up on our session with additional resources.
