About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 14 years of experience working as a therapist in personal, couple, family, and group settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, abuse, grief, addiction, PTSD, personality disorders, toxic personalities. co-occurring disorders, codependency, and veterans issues.

My approach is client-centered (based on your needs and wants), compassionate, encouraging, and respectful (some appropriate humor may slip in occasionally). My approach draws on modalities of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, motivational, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Your treatment will be unique to you based on our joint treatment planning, your preferences, and your goals for treatment.

Life is dynamic, exciting, and often unpredictable. It can also be challenging, complex, and at times overwhelming. Your choice to invest in yourself shows a willingness to take more control of your life. With treatment, your ability to address issues of the past, manage the demands of the present, and prepare for the future will increase. Peace of mind, clarity, and purpose can and will improve. I look forward to working with you in this undertaking.
