About Me

I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Nebraska. Since 2005, I have provided therapeutic services to individuals, families and groups from age 1 to 89.
While some people believe that counseling and therapy are for people with problems, I have come to believe that these services are for people that have goals and I have worked with thousands of people in the identification and attainment of personal, relational, vocational and spiritual goals.
With undergraduate and graduate training in philosophy, psychology, religion and linguistics, my approach involves helping others find meaning in life and resolution of their situational concerns.

In my first session with Ryan, I felt seen and understood. He has a way of boiling down all my chaotic thought processes and self doubts into a human experience. Really great to talk with him, and he gives insightful prompts for me to think on

Very friendly and easy to use. I really like this form of counseling given we are currently locked up. I appreciate the variety of means of connecting. Thank you.

Ryan is honest, unbiased, and non-judgemental, professional, and a great listener.. I was having thoughts that I believed embarrassing and weird, but when I told him he made them seem very normal and understandable. I have had a great experience with Ryan so far and I am excited for the future with him as my counselor.

I am so thankful for Ryan. I am a very private person, but I am very comfortable being open and honest with Ryan. He listens and validates. He is kind and honest. He reminds me that I can’t control others and their actions, but I do have control over my own actions. He helps me problem solve and offers suggestions regarding communication, breathing & relaxation techniques, and encourages me to take care of myself. I’m so appreciative of his perspective and the perspective I have gained through talking with him.

Ryan is great. He has a unique perspective, great intuition, is receptive to what I’m feeling, helps me figure out why I’m feeling that way and how to learn ways to push through those feelings towards my growth.

Thank you Ryan for your time and expertise. I'm beyond grateful for the help you've given me.

Ryan is empathetic, understanding and very knowledgeable. He's very grounded and able to take you through a steep learning curve in a way that feels safe and supportive. He's action oriented so if you're willing to do the work, he can help you to make a lot of meaningful mindset shifts and behaviour changes. His spiritual insight and intuition makes him a true gift to all those suffering.

Thank you again.
