Ryan Worley, LPC
About me
I believe that the narratives that we live with greatly determine how we experience life and express ourselves. My passion is to meet clients in that space of their story and help them move towards their goals in an effective and caring way utilizing a client-centered approach and the latest in relevant clinical research.
I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP university. I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), an NCC (National Certified Counselor), and am working on several different certifications in trauma. I have over 20 years of experience working with all age groups in various contexts, such as private practice, community mental health, college counseling centers, and other non-profit settings. In addition to that, I am also a Clinical Director that oversees three different sites and several interns.
I also have an extensive sports background. I was a four-sport athlete in high school, first-team all-state in basketball, and competed as an NCAA Division II scholarship student-athlete in basketball. I understand the toll that sports can have on an athlete's mental health because of the pressure to perform academically and athletically.

Ryan has been incredibly helpful in guiding me to release stress and relinquish control over things that I do not have control of in life. He has been compassionate and flexible and understanding when I had to switch appointment times due to my highly uncertain schedule. I wish to be paired with him again should I need counselling again!
Thank you Ryan, for everything!

I was skeptical at first but Ryan helped reassure my fears and hesitancy to online counseling.

Ryan is a great counselor and a genuine person. He listens well to what I say and adapts to my needs. He creates a safe space for me to share anything and everything without judgment.. And oh boy have I shared. He's an optimistic person which helps encourage me to keep working on myself. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

It's only been a couple of sessions, but his broad knowledge of anger management issues has already influenced me for the better.
