I believe that the narratives that we live with greatly determine how we experience life and express ourselves. My passion is to meet clients in that space of their story and help them move towards their goals in an effective and caring way utilizing a client-centered approach and the latest in relevant clinical research.
I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP university. I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), an NCC (National Certified Counselor), and am working on several different certifications in trauma. I have over 20 years of experience working with all age groups in various contexts, such as private practice, community mental health, college counseling centers, and other non-profit settings. In addition to that, I am also a Clinical Director that oversees three different sites and several interns.
I also have an extensive sports background. I was a four-sport athlete in high school, first-team all-state in basketball, and competed as an NCAA Division II scholarship student-athlete in basketball. I understand the toll that sports can have on an athlete's mental health because of the pressure to perform academically and athletically.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Ryan Worley. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Ryan is wonderful. He's energetic, understanding, patient, intelligent, and adaptive. Over the years I've seen a few counselors, therapists, a psychologist, and a life coach; most of them were helpful in various ways, but Ryan is by far the best fit for me. I highly recommend seeing if he's a good fit for you too.
I can happily recommend having Ryan Worley as a therapist. He helped me getting through a hard and confusing time and always listened to my problems and needs.
Ryan has been incredibly helpful in guiding me to release stress and relinquish control over things that I do not have control of in life. He has been compassionate and flexible and understanding when I had to switch appointment times due to my highly uncertain schedule. I wish to be paired with him again should I need counselling again!
Thank you Ryan, for everything!
I was skeptical at first but Ryan helped reassure my fears and hesitancy to online counseling.
Ryan is a great counselor and a genuine person. He listens well to what I say and adapts to my needs. He creates a safe space for me to share anything and everything without judgment.. And oh boy have I shared. He's an optimistic person which helps encourage me to keep working on myself. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
It's only been a couple of sessions, but his broad knowledge of anger management issues has already influenced me for the better.
Ryan has been a truly wonderful guide in my journey. He helped me find the right tools that allowed me to improve my outlook on life, forgive myself & pass through a challenging phase in my personal life. A few months later, things are aligned again and I can definitely thank Ryan for being there for me. He is caring, professional, available & respectful. I totally recommend him.
I just started counselling with Ryan he is very pleasant polite and respectful experienced have an amazing approach to helping you solve your problems I have done counselling before this is my best experience.
I'm pleased that I was matched with Ryan. He responded to my messages in a timely manner with empathy. He also provided helpful materials and guidance that was tailored to what I was going through. Even with the asynchronous communication of my texting and his voice messages, we were able to have a personal, effective conversation. He's both kind and helpful.
Ryan was great to work with. He was a good listener, which allowed him to equip me with the tools that I needed to get my mental health back on track.
I also never felt judged by Ryan in sharing my thoughts. I felt like I could have an open dialogue with him that could lead to some growth.
Overall, a great counselor to work with and I would recommend him to anybody in the future.
Ryan is super helpful. I had no idea to what to expect in starting counseling, but I was pleasantly surprised by his input and attention to my thoughts and feelings. He has been instrumental in discovering new ways to improve my quality of life.
Ryan is really understanding. I feel I could say anything to him. He is very open and is always trying to gentle help and guide me through tough things in my life. Just having him makes feel I have the support I need.
