About me

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to cater to the needs of every individual. I am able to utilise Person-Centred Theory (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory (AT), Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT), and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Implementing an integrated approach provides unique, authentic, and empowering experiences which can help clients to manage emotional trauma, achieve realistic goals, and live healthier lives.

I possess a deep passion to support vulnerable individuals who struggle with emotional, cognitive, and psychological issues as well as additional complex needs including: anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, sexual violence, substance misuse, addiction, bereavement, low self-esteem, eating disorders, BPD, PTSD, OCD, anger and attachment disorders. In addition to this, I consider myself to be a deeply compassionate and empathetic professional with excellent communication skills and a desire to help individuals process difficult life experiences, unlearn maladaptive thought patterns and behaviours, and develop confidence to make more autonomous choices.

Beginning therapy can be a daunting experience, however many individuals have found therapy helpful when they have felt hopeless, helpless, and stuck in life. Engaging in therapy can help to promote self-awareness, self-confidence, and enable you to consider life challenges from alternative perspectives. Lastly, therapy can be useful for processing unresolved issues which when left untreated, can amplify feelings of guilt, shame, and self-blame, thus preventing the individual from living life to their fullest potential.

I'm so grateful I didn't quit on BetterHelp and tried Sadie out as a last effort. She has been so compassionate and professional and also real. I have done a lot of therapy and never felt this safe with a therapist. Would 100% recommend Sadie.
