About me
? Hello, and welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist isn't always easy. Whether you're navigating anxiety, healing from past experiences, feeling stuck, or simply looking for a space where you can be yourself, I want you to know that you don't have to face it alone.
I believe healing isn't about erasing the difficult parts of your story—it's about understanding them, honoring them, and discovering how they fit into the person you're becoming. Every experience, whether joyful or painful, has helped shape who you are. My hope is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring every part of your story, knowing that every piece of you is welcome.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and groups experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, burnout, self-esteem challenges, communication difficulties, and personal growth. I am passionate about providing an affirming, culturally responsive environment for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC individuals, and neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and autism. I believe every person deserves a therapeutic space where they feel respected, understood, and empowered to show up as their authentic self.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized because I recognize that no two people experience life in exactly the same way. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you while working toward goals that reflect your values, strengths, and hopes for the future. My role is not to tell you who to become, but to walk alongside you as you discover your own resilience, build confidence, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked or weighed down by life's challenges.
Clients often describe my style as warm, compassionate, collaborative, and supportive. I strive to create a balance between providing validation and offering practical tools that you can begin applying in your daily life. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, understood, and equipped with strategies that support your growth between sessions.
You don't need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Sometimes the hardest part is simply taking the first step—and you've already done that by being here.
My philosophy is simple: every piece of your story matters. Healing doesn't happen by becoming someone different—it happens by learning to embrace every piece of who you already are with compassion, curiosity, and self-acceptance.
I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.
