For over the past 10 years, I have worked with people who are expereincing a wide variety of life's challenges and now I am here to help guide you. Specifically, I am trained in working with people who are living with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use. As a social worker, I believe all people have strengths and the capacity to grow and change. My role is to help you rediscover your strengths and learn new tools along the way. My preferred therapeutic modalities include CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness. As of late, I have been increasingly incorporating neuroscience applications into my work as research has shown the benefit of this approach.
I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
I am available for messaging Monday through Friday. I check my messages several times a day and will get back to you as quickly as I can. The journal feature is also a great way to communicate between sessions. For live sessions, availability varies somewhat but it is usually Tuesday through Friday 7am to 1pm EST.
