About me

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I have been a practitioner since 2011 and have continued studying and working in private practice to enhance my learning.

I have been working closely with First Responders & Veterans from the UK, US & Canada and I have established an excellent reputation for making my clients feel at ease which encourages them to talk about their experience and the changes they wish to make in their lives.

You do not have to be a veteran or first responder to work with me, it is not a pre requisite. I work with anyone who wants therapy, my therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

My approach combines cognitive behavioural therapy, humanistic, and psychodynamic modalities. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I am a specialist trauma therapist and have written keynote speeches and Continuing Professional Development awareness courses in PTSD and Suicide. I have been a keynote speaker for The Metropolitan Police Specialist Firearms Operations Unit (SCO19) and The National Crime Agency (NCA) regarding PTSD.

Starting therapy can be hard, but I am grateful for being paired with Samantha by the algorithm. Initially, there was a goal-setting part for our sessions, which helped me a lot in deciding why I reached out to therapy and what I would like by the end of it. I wasn't sure if it was a good match in the beginning, but after 3 sessions, I managed to connect with my therapist and started entering therapy with a more open mind, ready to be vulnerable and make the personal changes that would lead to me achieving my goals. Samantha actively listened to my thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and I felt understood. She is very professional as she was focused on how she could assist me in achieving my initial goals, unlocking my personal potential but also giving me the space to express myself, think about how "success" looks like for me, and meet my goals under my own standards. She inspired me to ask the "hard" questions to define a life of happiness or identify how I want my life to look, feel like, and include. The current BetterHelp platform helps with the review process and setting up the goals right from the start. Samantha also gave more hands-on exercises and included a variety of practices during our sessions. I am very thankful to her for supporting me on this journey, and I would recommend her!
