She has a calming, understanding voice and does well with helping to calm me down when I am upset. She helps to validate feelings and gives great coping mechanisms as well as advice. Therapy sessions with her are more than just venting. You will feel like you are understand as well as getting feedback and advice on the problems you are having or problems you have with yourself.

Samantha Schmitt is one of the most compassionate, empathetic and helpful therapists I’ve ever had. She helps me to think of the challenges I’m dealing with by offering insight into ways of thinking I didn’t realize or even thought about before. I feel seen and heard by her which isn’t something I can say about therapists I have had in the past. I am learning so much about coping mechanisms and what can cause some of the mental health challenges I have been dealing with for years but never truly understood why. I can’t say enough good things about her and would recommend her to anyone who is ready and willing to do the work.

Samantha helped make 2021 a turning point in my life. We have worked together to improve my confidence and assertiveness, and I always look forward to our weekly sessions. She is down to Earth, an active listener, and I love that she challenges me (and has me challenge myself) by asking me questions that require deeper thinking/understanding.

She has helped me a lot dealing with my problems and concerns. She is a great listener and gives excellent advice. I also receive worksheets on line to fill out. They help with coping in certain situations. She's amazing at what she does and I would highly recommend her to others.

Once you find someone that helps you express your feelings and work through trauma, you make sure that you prioritize that time for yourself.

It's unreal how much this has helped me. I always had a problem with communicating. I cannot communicate what is happening or happened of I am not on it. This allows me to journal. It then becomes a correspondence email like communication. I am able to take those thoughts put them down and give them over to the professional. "Here ya go, now what" lol. I love my Dr. She makes me feel very comfortable. I do not talk fave to face. Not comfortable with it just my preference and I am happy they have that as option. Good luck. Stay safe and try to remember this isn't forever, it's just a moment. Tomorrow's another day. Rest ♡

I refer many people to BetterHelp because I was so skeptical about therapy. I thought I could figure it out all by myself but sometimes we have to trust that there is better help out there and that is okay. Samantha has helped me in numerous ways with my relationships and help me see a better perspective on anything I have trouble with. I value Samantha because she has helped guide me in a better way of living and loving others and loving myself ultimately. I would recommend Samantha and BetteHelp and I do to just about everyone I meet. I am like the child who found something so valuable to them they want to share it with the world. Thank you BetterHelp and thank you Samantha, my life is changing rapidly for the better because of you.

I came to Samantha at an extremely bad place and time in my life and she stayed calm and collected the whole way, she motivated me to do the right things instead of falling deeper where I was. She is an excellent therapist and I’m glad I got the chance to be counseled by her. I am now in a better place because she didn’t give up on me and understands how I felt, especially with my journals. Feel lucky to have a conversation with this amazing therapist.

Sam has been the best therapist I’ve ever had. Every session I’ve been to I’ve felt heard, understood, safe, and supported. I’ve felt such relief knowing I have a supportive therapist to look forward to speaking with through all life has to offer. She’s never not been fully present to support me when needed, and to celebrate the small wins with me alongside my journey. She’s helped me immensely to work towards my goals of finding freedom & peace. I cannot say enough great things about her.

Samantha has changed my life, and I am not saying that lightly. Samantha is not only kind and genuine, she is also incredibly professional. She has provided me with so many useful mental tools, and has truly helped me learn so much about myself. She is always positive and empathetic, but also incredibly insightful and honest. I went from putting off therapy for months to looking forward to my weekly session, specifically because I get to talk things out with Sam. I feel relief each and every session. She has done an incredible job being open and communicative while simultaneously setting healthy boundaries for our therapist-client relationship. She treats me with nothing but respect. She is so patient, and so understanding. She is so good at recognizing my needs, and allowing them to dictate the flow of our sessions (which is important when you consider that sometimes I don’t even know what I need). Our sessions have taught me so much about balance, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found a therapist like her. While it's a bummer that we are many states apart, and I may never get to thank her in person, every session feels as if we are right there in the room together.
