About me

Welcome!

I will start by giving you a little background on me. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I earned by B.S in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2015. From there I pursued my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sam Houston State University and graduated in 2019.

My motto in counseling is THROUGH HONESTY AND SELF ACCEPTANCE, COMES GROWTH.

I believe that once we are able to practice honesty with ourselves about ourselves and other factors in our lives, we are able to move to the next step of acceptance. When we are able to practice acceptance, we are able to stop fighting against our reality. Instead, we are able to partner with it. Once that happens, growth happens.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. At my core, I am a person-centered therapist. I will treat you with respect, refrain from judgement and always do my best to understand from your point of view. To give you the best experience, I prefer to use an integrated approach that includes components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
