About me
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. I bring over 12 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges, and I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow.
I hold a B.A. in Classics with an emphasis on ancient languages from Texas Tech University (2010) and an M.A. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Midwestern State University (2012). Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of roles — from individual counseling to forensic assessment to clinical supervision — and I’ve supported clients facing everything from trauma and anxiety to identity exploration and life transitions.
My primary therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on helping you live a life aligned with your deepest values, even when difficult thoughts or feelings show up. I also draw from other modalities like psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and wilderness wellness techniques, tailoring my approach to your unique needs and goals.
As a queer-affirming, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC-inclusive therapist, I am deeply committed to creating a space where all identities and experiences are honored and supported. I understand that healing often means navigating not just personal struggles, but also the weight of societal pressures, cultural expectations, and systems that may have left you feeling unseen or unheard.
Whether you’re here to work on mental health challenges, explore your identity, build coping tools, or reconnect with your sense of purpose, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we can create a path forward that feels authentic, empowered, and grounded in who you truly are.
