Samuel Myrick, LCSW
About me
I have worked as a clinician for the last ten years as therapist, with a strong history in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes and exploring how to find a sense of balance between their past, their present, and their hopes for the future. My practice centers on creating affirming, compassionate spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals, young adults, and those experiencing relationship challenges, trauma, and addiction, and I myself am an individual in long-term recovery.
I bring a depth of understanding to issues like self-love, communication barriers, isolation, and personal growth. My approach is deeply client-centered, focusing on healing from shame, managing panic and mood disorders, and supporting healthy relationship dynamics.
With expertise in trauma-informed care, I'm committed to helping clients explore attachment patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop resilient coping strategies. Whether you're struggling with chronic pain, relationship transitions, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I offer a supportive, non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
My goal is to walk alongside you, honoring your unique journey and empowering you to create meaningful, positive change in your life.
