About me

I've earned a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration with a 4.0 GPA. I have an Educational Specialist Degree as well as a Masters in Counseling and Educational Administration. I am a national board certified counselor with an extensive background working with clients who have experienced trauma. I am a Licensed Professional Counseling Supervisor. I have over twenty-nine years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a range of concerns. I have worked approximately ten years as a Psychologist/Qualified Mental Health Professional for a local state hospital where individuals receiving services received inpatient treatment from active delusions, paranoid ideations, schizophrenia, and a range of mood disorders. As a Program Director for an outpatient clinic for seven years, there were opportunities to work with adolescents and children with diagnoses such as disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, as well as working with adults facing problems with alcohol and drug usage, unmanaged anger, generalized anxiety, and clinical depression. Other years in my career allowed me to provide a service to children and their families both at a school level and local social service agencies.

Sandra really is such a breath of fresh air to help me discover healthier ways to move forward in my life. She’s calm, gentle but not afraid to be direct and help me figure out better ways in many areas of my life. Being divorced and a single mom, she’s really helped me navigate this new life.

Dr Clark is a wonderful, supportive, and knowledgeable therapist. Her experience and expertise has been very helpful to me. I love that we have a shared faith, as she is able to encourage me in a way that someone who does not share my beliefs would not. Every time I get off our voice calls, I feel like I have been catching up with an old friend who cares deeply for my mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Her support has been a great help to me!

We've only had one session but I like how she listened to me. I know she listened because she repeated back to me some things I said and asked questions. Looking forward to moving forward with her.
