About me

Hello and thank you for looking into my profile. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 12 years of experience working with people of all ages. I have worked with clients who are experiencing a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, struggles with parenting, adjustment and traumatic experiences including healing from abuse.
My counseling style is strengths based and client centered. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. My approach starts with empathy and utilizes integrative dynamics from cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing. Although all of our life experiences may differ, we are interrelated and interdependent, because of our “inter-relatedness” I believe it’s also important to look at the systems that affect our lives. I assist clients to develop goals and put into action a means to meet those goals.
Seeking therapy is a courageous step towards leading a happier and more fulfilling life. It takes strength to show vulnerability. It has always been my honor to have the trust of a client as they begin their journey towards healing and growth.
I check my messages Monday through Fridays, with the goal of responding in 48 hours or less. I rarely will check my messages on weekends. I have LIMITED live sessions available (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Evenings.)

Please also review my profile on Teen Counseling and Pride Counseling.

I look forward to working with you.

She is the best therapist that I've had. She's skilled in looking at all possible angles of a situation. She's someone who can show you why you feel the way you do.
