Sandra Williams, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with over 10 years of experience in clinical mental health. My career has been dedicated to helping individuals, families, and groups navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges with compassion, skill, and evidence-based care.
I have extensive experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical expertise includes addressing anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief, mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, relationship concerns, and severe and persistent mental illness. I am also well-versed in crisis intervention, co-occurring disorders, and supporting clients through life transitions.
My therapeutic style is warm, inviting, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel both supported and empowered to explore their challenges. Using an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Strengths-Based practices, I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual.
In addition to direct client care, I am passionate about mentoring and supervising emerging counselors. As a CPCS, I provide thoughtful, ethical, and supportive supervision to help clinicians grow in competence and confidence.
Above all, my work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a commitment to helping clients achieve meaningful growth and lasting resilience.

Reviews

She is a great therapist. I like that she can be honest with me without worrying about hurting my feelings (I asked her to be blunt because that's how I am). She listens very well and is able to analyze even better. 10/10 would recommend!

So far, thanks to the questionnaire before being matched, Mrs. Williams was already perfect for my mental health and stability. She's not only identified my issues with just three sessions, but helped me to better understand my own power as an individual. It's more than just talking to my friends who are good listeners. They'll help and it's nice to hear, but I don't get the help I need from them. She's actually trained and studied this so it's insightful and more structured than just irrational planning and impulsive thoughts. I couldn't think of anyone better to get matched with.
