About Me

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working as therapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, with a special focus in adoption and foster care issues. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I consider the client/therapist relationship to be the most important thing in counseling. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines trauma-focused, solution focused and motivational interviewing counseling styles. . I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

I was always hesitant about therapy bc I thought it would take a long time to find a good therapist. I've heard horror stories. And I wasn't sure about online therapy, I tend to be an in-person person. However Sara has been amazing, and helped me deal with issues that have been a problem for me for decades, and I truly feel better after I talk to her. I am so grateful I tried Better Help and found her!

Sara was really good in understanding my issues and teach me to manage them properly

This is my first time using therapy / counselling and the benefits outweighed my initial reticence in engaging , I would highly recommend Sara to anyone who needs or thinks they would benefit from counselling

She does a wonderful job of listening while being able to connect and encourage you at the same time I really enjoy talking to her and like how she checks on me through the week.

She is so kind and helpful. She takes time to get to know you as a person while she tries to help you out. I get anxious about talking on the phone and video chatting people I don’t know well, so she let our first session take place over live chat messages instead. She’s very understanding.
