About Me

Hi! I'm Sara and I am ready to help! I have a Master's Degree in Social Work and have been helping people through therapy for 18 years. I have worked in a variety of settings to include private practice, community mental health, and treating military beneficiaries to include children/adolescents/teens/and adults, and providing crisis intervention in all those settings.

In my free time I enjoy lots of varied activities to include any time outdoors, watching my dogs be dogs, sewing, gardening, hanging out in the hammocks, going to local theater performances, making and eating good food, and being with family.

My style of therapy is upfront, kind, and supportive. While half of my clients are looking for someone to listen and understand the other half is looking for specific advice and tools that they can use to make their life better and either form of therapy is okay with me. I like to go at your pace as therapy should challenge you a bit to grow but should never be so painful you need to stop.

Thanks for being courageous and trying therapy; there is a kind person ready to help if it's me or another one of my colleagues.

Sara is an incredible therapist. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her is truly lucky and will absolutely get something out of it. She is personable, a wonderful listener, kind, humorous, and truly skilled in her practices. I feel so heard and understood when talking with her. I’m grateful to be able to work with her and hope you get the chance to as well.
