Sarah Coiro, LPC
I am a Masters-Level Professional Counselor licensed in New Jersey with 21 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and family conflict.
The treatment that I provide is based upon the foundation that I build with clients; the relationship is everything. I understand that going into therapy can be scary and that change can be hard, but possible. My approach combines tenets of cognitive-behavioral therapy, self psychology, as well as dialectical behavioral therapy. Utilizing my background in these areas, we will work together to develop goals for treatment based on your individual needs and what you really want to get out of therapy.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

I have been working with Sarah for the last few months and my sessions with her have become a reprieve from the stresses that I deal with daily. When I started I tried a few different therapists but when I spoke with Sarah I felt comfortable right away and felt she really got my needs. With gentle guiding questions she was able to help dig deeper and explore and understand my challenges. She offered support and tools that translated to real life and tangible results.
