About me

I can offer you a safe space to explore the areas that you are having difficulties with in life. It takes courage to reach out and access therapy. Are you feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, empty, disconnected, or experiencing any other feelings that are preventing you from enjoying life? Reaching out for help is one of the bravest and kindest things we can do for ourselves.

I am a professional, empathic and friendly therapist/ CBT practitioner, who is committed to helping my clients explore solutions to their problems; enabling them to move forward with their lives. I work with clients in a welcoming and supportive environment, integrating a variety of therapeutic approaches to maximise change.

Throughout the past 16 years I have counselled clients in a variety of settings, both within the private and public sector. I offer a non judgmental safe space in which you can explore any issues you need help with; which may include depression, low self esteem, anxiety, panic attacks, isolation, relationship problems, psychological impacts of trauma, self harm, suicidal ideation and addictions.

I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor/ integrative therapist, utilising CBT to implement positive change. I am also a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy); and therefore I abide by its ethical framework. I have regular supervision, and engage in continuing professional development. I am enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked, and work with children, young people and adults.

I strive to create a safe, therapeutic space, in which we can work together to explore your areas of concern; that maybe uncomfortable or distressing to discuss.

My working hours are Monday to Friday 9am until 4.30pm. Unfortunately I do not have the capacity to work weekends.
