About me

**Please note, I am currently only accepting clients who want short-term, solution focused sessions in a live chat format**
Sometimes life becomes overwhelming. Maybe something has happened recently, maybe it happened a while ago, or maybe you’re not even sure why you feel the way you do. You might have trouble doing things that used to bring you joy, you might have racing thoughts and out of control worry, or you might just be struggling with a particular situation or relationship. Often, individuals seeking therapy will say that they just need to have a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can talk things out.

That’s where my work with you comes in. We will work together to put an understanding to what those emotions are, what triggers them, and how to manage them. I specialize particularly in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and young adults, but work with all ages and sexualities. I also work with concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship (including family, friend, and romantic) issues, grief, self-esteem, and life changes. I have four year of experience and have found that while all individuals have different needs, my primary therapeutic approach generally combines cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. My therapeutic style is easygoing and conversational; I tend to "go with the flow" with whichever needs you present and believe firmly in meeting clients where they're at.

Deciding to reach out to a therapist is a big step and I commend you on getting this far! I look forward to helping you along your journey of self discovery, however far along that journey you may be.

Best therapy experience I've had. She made it easy to externally process my experiences and challenges. Would be happy to work with her again!

Sarah has been of great help for the past month!! I went into therapy (for the first time) with quite a lot of doubts and hesitation and she immediately made me feel comfortable. She was always professional and so very friendly, that I quickly felt like I could tell her a lot more than I initially wanted. This short period of sessions with Sarah has made a huge difference for me and I am so glad that she was my first experience with therapy!

Sarah amazing at what she does. She’s a great listener and offers practical advice as well as brings up points that make you see things in a different perspective or in a way you never thought about before. She is extremely kind and non-judgmental in every way and makes you feel comfortable and supported always. She puts in extra work to ensure you have all the tools you need to put what you talk about in session into practical use. I would recommend her to everyone in my life.

Absolutely amazing! She has made me have trust in therapy again. She challenges me in all the ways I need it and has great perspectives and ideas. She provided me with worksheets for my specific issues . She helped me to understand myself so well.

I can't tell you the difference Sarah had made to my life. She is supportive, understanding and will advocate for you and champion you every step of your recovery. Her therapy approach massively suited me, I felt like we clicked instantly and she importantly gave me the space to guide our therapy whilst applying her knowledge and experience throughout.

The difference between now and when I first started with her is immeasurable. She's been an absolute godsend and I'm going to miss working with her hugely. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Sarah.
