About me

I am a qualified Person Centred counsellor with 12 years professional work experience. I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and as such adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and also the BACP Guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I specialise in traumatic loss, bereavement and PTSD, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, and clients who have been diagnosed with a personality disorder and Bipolar. I have also helped many clients who have experienced physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with compassion, respect and sensitivity.

My approach is mainly Person-Centred, along with solution focussed and humanistic therapies. The underpinning principles of the Person-Centred Approach are focused on the counsellor being honest, non-judgmental and fully accepting whilst being fully integrated in the relationship allowing the client to lead and set the pace. I aim to offer these conditions as best as I can during our relationship.

It takes a lot of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
