About me

First of all, thank you for looking through my profile. I appreciate you considering working with me. When working with you, I want you to feel the safety and openness of the environment we share - a place where your thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
You may have been walking with the experiences you wish to talk through for a long time, equally, these issues may have only just become a challenge. Regardless, carrying those weights is not something you need to do alone. Clients I have worked with have shared that I have been able to handle more than they thought someone would be able to, even through experiences they have had within similar settings. Whilst I am by no means perfect, it matters to me that you would find a place to let go.
Having worked as a counsellor in the UK for some 12 years within a range of settings, from primary through secondary schools and also with adults of all ages, my training and importantly the skills that I have continued to develop as I have worked with people, have equipped me to support those with a range of people in varying circumstances. As well as working with a range of matters pertaining to personal wellbeing, I also enjoy and value working with clients from a diverse range of global cultures. This has only gone on to enrich my work, and has been a privilege that I have enjoyed both prior to and now through my work on Better Help. The issues that I have explored with my clients include supporting clients experiencing anxiety, various relational challenges, & family conflicts. Those that I have worked with have experienced loss, breakdowns and identity crises, and it has been a privilege to help them rediscover a sense of significance and security whilst working with them. I have also worked with people that have been exploited and have endured varying forms of abuse through their family, workplace or indeed community. I have a trauma informed approach, and have worked with a number of clients in that situation and have some experience of working with PTSD too.
My training is integrative, which means that I work with a range of models including psychodynamic, CBT and person centred approaches. My work also stems from a Christian worldview, though I am very happy working with anyone of any faith or none.
If you are unsure of what to do next, do get in touch. I would be happy to talk more and answer any questions you specifically have for me.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my site. It will be good to meet you soon.

Sashi is an extremely kind and understanding therapist. It took me a while to start the therapy process, and he was extremely patient with me which I appreciated greatly.

Sashi is very compassionate about what he does. Listens very attentively to what you have to say and is always there to chat with when you need the advise or someone just to vent to

Sashi ha a couple super powers. He can listen attentively, and also with empathy. He's able to zero in on key topics and really focus on them. He checks in regularly , which to me is a plus and his aura has a very kind demeanor. Overall, it's fun to work with him, and it does not feel like "work". I've worked with psychs before, and he makes it easy.
Highly recommended. Your here anyway - Give it him shot - why not?
