About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor with over seven years of experience. I have worked with individuals with a broad range of concerns including addiction, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, ADHD/ADD, PTSD, relationship issues, stress, and more. I have also helped people with a history of abuse.

My counseling style is relaxed. I believe you are the expert of yourself. You know yourself better than anyone else. That's why I see our therapeutic relationship as a collaborative experience. Sometimes it helps hearing things we already know from an outside person. I have a wide range of techniques and theories I pull from including cognitive-behavioral, person centered, strength based, and solution-focused. We will tailor a plan together that fits your goals.

Reaching out is a hard first step that takes a lot of courage. Once you are ready to take that step, I am ready to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Savanna Martin. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I have been in and out of Therapy for 10 years without being able to find the right fit for me. When I discovered Betterhelp I thought it would be a great way to work through my social anxiety with speaking about myself to professionals. Savanna is my second therapist with Betterhelp and she has helped me more in the 2 months we've worked together than any other therapist I've seen over the 10 years. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone looking to better their lives with Betterhelp.

Savanna is awesome. She actually listens to me and hears what I have to say, she will dive into what I say and allow me to think about it as well as giving great coping mechanisms.

Savanna really is truly amazing! She's taught me so much on how to analyze what I'm feeling and whether it truly makes sense or not. She's taught me to love myself and cope with my trauma. She helped me realize that even when bad things happen to us or we're given bad circumstances we still have the power to change that and we aren't stuck in that forever. I will always be in debt to Savanna for saving my life and helping me realize that I am enough for this world.
