About me

Hello-

I have been a licensed LPC counselor in Missouri for the past five years and was recently licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, District of Columbia, Maine, and Virginia. Working with individuals, families, and couples has provided me with the ability to assist individuals throughout many aspects of their lives.

I have had training in DBT, CBT, EMD-R and continue to grow my therapeutic knowledge through self-training and through clinical training. I have had the pleasure of working in many different fields throughout my life time and feel this has provided me with the ability to look at situations from a variety of different perspectives.

I firmly believe that when a person makes the choice to make changes in their life then they are on the path to becoming who they want to be.

I look forward to hearing from you and assisting you with determining who you want to be.

Thank you,

Savannah Harness, LPC

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Savannah Harness. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Savannah's approach, thus far, seems that it will focus on small and actionable items. We're not re-hashing my past and my youth (thank goodness) as we get started. Not that these things aren't important, but they can make the experience that much more difficult. She trusts that as we progress, these topics will come up organically when I'm moving through a specific complexity. I've never worked with someone who's approach is like this, but I think it will do better for me. Savannah wants to help me build myself up, and part of that means setting and working towards goals.

I have had the privilege of working with Savannah for a while now and I am incredibly thankful to have found her. Finding a therapist is HARD and I breathed a sigh of relief after meeting with Savannah. Since then, she has helped me to work through things I wasn't even aware of, challenged me to better myself, served as a listening ear, and has just been an amazing support all around. I love that she follows up every serious moment we have with a bit of levity because that's what I need; it's something that demonstrates how well she knows her clients and how much she cares.
