About me

What ails you? I believe many of our issues stem from a lack of understanding and acceptance. I would like to be able to provide a space in which you can explore and reflect on the experiences that have brought you to seek help.

I take a non directive, collaborative approach incorporating person centered, existential, interpersonal, and harm reduction philosophies.

“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.” - Alan Watts

Great guy who really helps me pick apart my ramblings lol

Scott is very down to earth and has an uncanny ability to create and hold space for his clients, not an easy thing to do over telehealth. He offers empathetic feedback and sound guidance for those who are willing to let down their guard.

Scott is a great therapist. He’s great and mirroring and motivational interviewing. I would recommend Better Health in hopes that friends or family would be matched with him.

Extremely happy!

Written on Mar 21, 2022 after therapy with Scott for 7 months on issues concerning stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, and intimacy-related issues

I’ve had about five therapists over the past few years of treatment, and Scott is the best one I’ve ever had.
He’s willing to go into the dark places with you, but always asks if you’re comfortable doing so. He never pushes you into a conversation you don’t want to have. And when we are discussing a topic, he will speak honestly about what it’s bringing up for him in his life, and it’s really nice to receive that empathy and feel like I’m less alone. Even with all this, he still manages to be funny in a casual and authentic way.

He’s really helped me on my journey and often has great insights that I think about throughout the week. If you want to dig deep with someone, or even just vent about relationships in your life, Scott is down for either.
