About me

I am Shabeen Khan, a licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. With more than 4 years of experience working with adolescents, I understand that the teenage years and the transition into adulthood can be challenging, particularly when exploring self-identity. I primarily work with teenagers, providing a supportive, tailored approach to a range of challenges. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, school-related stress, grief, and identity issues.
I recognize that relationships—whether with a partner, family, or even oneself—can be complex and emotionally charged. If you find yourself feeling stuck in patterns of conflict, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm, know that you are not alone. We can sketch out a solution to this cycle of repetition together.
In our sessions, you will have a safe, nonjudgmental space to express your emotions and struggles. I offer warmth, empathy, and understanding to make you feel heard and valued. I strive to create a safe space for you to explore your individuality, fostering authenticity and empowerment.
My treatment approach is cognitive-behavioral with motivational interviewing, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques to help individuals achieve their goals. I strive to create a safe environment for you to explore your individuality, fostering authenticity and empowerment.
As your advocate and ally, let me accompany you on your journey to healing and fulfillment.
