Shamanda Burston, LCMHC
About me
Hi, I’m Dr. Shamanda Burston, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist based in North Carolina. I specialize in working with high-performing, high-functioning individuals who are used to holding it all together—but are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or mentally exhausted behind the scenes.
You may be successful on the outside, but internally dealing with stress, burnout, financial pressure, or major life transitions. You might find it hard to slow down, set boundaries, or feel like your self-worth is tied to how much you achieve.
My approach is supportive, direct, and practical. I combine therapy with financial awareness to help you not only process what you’re going through, but also build a more stable, sustainable life. Together, we’ll work on managing anxiety, navigating transitions, improving your relationship with money, and creating clarity around what’s next for you.
I create a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. You can show up honestly, feel supported, and begin to move forward with more clarity and confidence.
If you’re ready to stop carrying everything on your own and start feeling more grounded and in control, I’m here to help.
