Greetings,
I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Shana Latham. I specialize in helping persons manage co-occurring disorders, conflict resolution, systemic depression, situational depression and stress reduction. I have 16-year track record of success in helping clients and staff achieve a broad range of goals and objectives throughout my career as a License Professional Counselor. I take pride in my hands-on approach to therapy which has helped me gain trust and build partnerships with individuals. My style strongly emphasizes pleasantly working together through motivating conversations.

Shana is great! I started working with Shana more than a year ago to help manage my anxiety and work-related stress. I had tried counseling before, but I had never been able to connect with my therapist at the time. With Shana, it was a totally different experience! Within our first session together, I felt like she was able to understand my needs and goals for therapy. She also provided me with exercises and strategies, which were really helpful. Over the course of the year, Shana helped me to better articulate my emotions, needs, and boundaries, and find new coping tools to calm my mind. She was a great listener and non-judgmental partner to have on my journey, and she helped me find the confidence and validation that I needed to dig deeper and move forward. Plus she has such a warmth about her and great laugh too! I’m taking a break from therapy now because I really feel like I’m in a good spot to manage the ups and downs as they come. Shana is great! I was struggling with a breakup and work stress. I really look forward to my sessions with her. Her demeanor and warmth coupled with non-judgmental responses to my concerns were really helpful. I felt like my feelings were accepted and normalized. She also helped with exercises and strategies that I found to be really impactful. I think I’m to the other side in some ways and am going to take a break from therapy to fly solo but would work with Shana again. Thank you Shana!

She is extremely great at her job. She gave me tools to help myself and soothe/comfort myself. And the more I learn about why I react a certain way or how my childhood really shaped who I am. And once I understood those type of things the less I needed to self soothe. I am grateful for her assistance!

I really enjoyed working with Dr. Latham. She gave me amazing tools right out the gate for success. I really appreciated the time and effort that Shana put into my sessions. She made it very easy to open up about issues I had been struggling with, and helped me to not only understand the emotions that I had been feeling, but also how to move forward and develop strategies that would help me in life. Shana helped me gain a different perspective when, before I started counseling, the only perspective I could see was the one inside myself. She really took the time to listen and understand how I was feeling, and to understand where those feelings were coming from.
