I have been working with Shana for 6-7 months and have loved our time together. She has helped me views things in a different light and helped me address areas of need. I would recommend Shana 10/10!
I look forward to my ongoing conversations with Shana. She is warm, insightful, and offers meaningful coping strategies and tools that have helped me become more meditative and focused. There is a lot trauma and stress (childhood and current) that seemed to be weighing down on me, even more so during this pandemic. Shana offers a different perspective that guides me through looking at things through a different set of lens and has helped foster my relationships with my children and husband. She also provides relevant scripture and biblical characters that I’ve used for continued meditation throughout the week. It has helped release a lot of the guilt and resistance that I once had, and I feel more motivated and hopeful. I value our conversations and look forward to our therapy sessions.
Working with Shana has been extremely helpful and rewarding. No matter if I’m going through something hard or intense or if everything feels aligned, Shana’s guidance, suggestions, ability to listen and supportive energy have been extremely helpful in helping me understand my feelings, recurring patterns and ways I get in my own way. I always leave our sessions feeling seen & heard, often with new tools to help me move forward. I am so grateful for our work together & highly recommend her to anyone looking to help themselves.
Shana was extremely helpful! I would love to continue my therapy with her but the schedule no longer works with my work schedule.
Where do I begin. I came to Shana broken. I had been sexually abused by my sister from the ages of 8 to 14, that same sister lead me to alot of pain through out the years. I had no idea how I had allowed mself to be manipulated for decades. I am now in my 50's and after getting covid I had a massive realization that my life had to change drastically, but I wasn't connecting the dots of how the sexual abuse had deeply affected my life. When I started therapy just 3 months ago I had stopped speaking to my sister and started seeking God. Shana was a gift from God. I held nothing back brought her all of my pain which she so graceously received. I specifically requested a spiritual counselor so we use the bible on every session. I wish I could write how beautifully I am healing. It has been hard but beautiful. I clearly see God's grace in my life. Could not be more grateful for Shana as my therapist.
I started seeing Shana for help with coping skills and loss of self-esteem related to chronic health issues. She is compassionate and patient, and I appreciated that she always asked about my current health and understood how that played into my ability to be present in therapy. She is very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable with her from the very beginning.
Been a great help so far. Understands me and is very intelligent.
Shana has been a phenomenal support since I connected with her in June 2019. She gives excellent perspectives on discussions I bring up, as well as asking the right questions at the right moment. I’m grateful to have her as my therapist.
Talking to Shana is a breath of fresh air for me. She’s very attentive and offers great insight on things I can do to help me heal and move forward. I love that she gives me scriptures to focus on for whatever situation I’m talking to her about. She’s greatly appreciated!
Shana is great! I started working with Shana more than a year ago to help manage my anxiety and work-related stress. I had tried counseling before, but I had never been able to connect with my therapist at the time. With Shana, it was a totally different experience! Within our first session together, I felt like she was able to understand my needs and goals for therapy. She also provided me with exercises and strategies, which were really helpful. Over the course of the year, Shana helped me to better articulate my emotions, needs, and boundaries, and find new coping tools to calm my mind. She was a great listener and non-judgmental partner to have on my journey, and she helped me find the confidence and validation that I needed to dig deeper and move forward. Plus she has such a warmth about her and great laugh too! I’m taking a break from therapy now because I really feel like I’m in a good spot to manage the ups and downs as they come. Thank you, Shana.
Shana is great! I was struggling with a breakup and work stress. I really look forward to my sessions with her. Her demeanor and warmth coupled with non-judgmental responses to my concerns were really helpful. I felt like my feelings were accepted and normalized. She also helped with exercises and strategies that I found to be really impactful. I think I’m to the other side in some ways and am going to take a break from therapy to fly solo but would work with Shana again. Thank you Shana!
My Counselor Shana was Very Helpful..! She gave me amazing advice that changed my perspective on my current situation. She also helped me with Forgiving myself by giving me Insight . I honestly couldn't be more Grateful. I'm certain she'll do the Same for you.
Ms. Shana gave me great tools to use on a regular basis to help keep my overthinking in its place and help me deal with stress. She also used Bible characters (at my request) to help me see that everything I’m experiencing is normal. Thanks Ms. Shana!
She is extremely great at her job. She gave me tools to help myself and soothe/comfort myself. And the more I learn about why I react a certain way or how my childhood really shaped who I am. And once I understood those type of things the less I needed to self soothe. I am grateful for her assistance!
I really enjoyed working with Dr. Latham. She gave me amazing tools right out the gate for success. She was easy to talk to and helped me see things I didn’t see before and made me feel like I wasn’t crazy and I’m not alone. I especially enjoyed her use of scripture to help me I felt I gained more with that addition. I appreciate all she has done.
Shana is great—she gives me great advice and action items each time we meet, which I like and find very helpful!
Shana helped me with exactly what I needed. I told her my problems the first session and she immediately had tools and suggestions with how to help me. I was having stress issues with my children and household and after using the tools she taught me I feel I control of my life again. Thank you!
Ms. Latham offers good advice and makes me feel reassured I've made the right decision participating in therapy.
I really appreciated the time and effort that Shana put into my sessions. She made it very easy to open up about issues I had been struggling with, and helped me to not only understand the emotions that I had been feeling, but also how to move forward and develop strategies that would help me in life. Shana helped me gain a different perspective when, before I started counseling, the only perspective I could see was the one inside myself. She really took the time to listen and understand how I was feeling, and to understand where those feelings were coming from.
Shana is amazing. She takes the time to listen, allows me to voice my concerns, and always repeats back to ensure understanding. Shana also always provides great feedback and ideas for interventions for the challenges I have while also giving me the necessary framework to develop my own ways of coping.

It is clear how much she cares about her patients. I appreciate her and would recommend her to anyone searching for a counselor.
The issues I was struggling with were not typical. I was pleasantly surprised by Ms. Shani Latham's ability to be truly helpful by offering practical and useful suggestions to complex puzzles and choices. She was helpful in the process of problem-solving by her attentive listening and by offering relevant and creative approaches. I am pleased with her understanding of the issues and her value-added support. Thank you!
Shana was a great listener who gave great advice without being judgmental. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a counselor.
Shana is a very helpful and thoughtful counselor. Shana not only helped me work through my immediate problems but discussed a path forward so that I could find more time to enjoy myself and manage the stress and anxiety in the future. I really appreciate her counseling.
Shana was such a comforting, thoughtful, and helpful presence in my life when I felt like I was spiraling. She actively listened to my worries and concerns, I never felt judged, and at the end of each session she always gave me something on which to reflect in the coming week. I’m grateful for my time with her and can’t recommend her more highly for anyone who’s looking for a therapist/counselor.
I really feel like Shana is helping me understand things better and figure things out. My outlook on things has been vastly different since I’ve been in counseling therefore improving my personal relationships. I have already told several friends about this and would recommend this to anyone. Phone therapy has not only been convenient for me but effective
Shana is lovely. I had a great time speaking with her and she really helped me with stress.
So incredibly helpful. She gives me tools and things that I can practice to make sure my life runs smoothly.
Very useful counseling including a variety of instruments to cope with different issues. I highly recommend it!
I have only had 2 session with Shana so far, but she has already helped talk me through so much. Her reflections and feedback during conversation are thoughtful and insightful, as she especially helps me understand different perspectives. I truly appreciate working with her.
Shana was very helpful. She was ready to talk about anything that needed to be talked about and worked with me on a broad range of subjects.
Shana session was my first counseling experience, and it work outed very well for me. As she was able to determine and resolve most of my concerns and issues. I'm very satisfied with her work and all wisdom shared to me. There's so much more issue I need to be figuring out through bigger concerns.
Thank you for your mentoring of my anxiety, depression and pain. This is all I need at the moment. I appreciated your time Shana. Best session I've ever had.
Shana has been really supportive in helping me get through a difficult and traumatic time.
