Shani Leal, LPC
About me
As a licensed therapist serving clients across Texas, I specialize in supporting young adults as they navigate complex life transitions and foster personal growth. My practice centers on empowering individuals through challenges related to self-esteem, communication, and healing from difficult experiences.
Drawing from a multicultural perspective, I offer compassionate support for those addressing codependency, life purpose exploration, and recovery from traumatic experiences. My approach honors each client's unique journey, creating a supportive space where personal transformation can unfold.
I'm particularly passionate about working with individuals processing adoption experiences, sexual assault survivors, and those seeking to build stronger self-love and interpersonal connections. My therapeutic style combines empathy, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based strategies to help clients develop resilience and meaningful personal growth.

Shani is patient and kind, and knows when to challenge, and also when to support. She's been my first therapist ever, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction.

Great listener, empathetic and sympathetic. Easy to talk to and offers helpful suggestions.

She’s a great lady! But as someone who is as damaged as I am, a lot of the conversations feel contrived. She does an amazing job, but the level of empathy seems to be lost. It really can be hit or miss when it comes to finding the right person, and she’s AMAZING! But for me personally, we aren’t compatible.
