About me
Shannon J. Robinson (she, her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She received her Master of Social Work from Norfolk State University with a Clinical Concentration. She currently holds the following credentials: Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider (CIMHP), Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS), and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider (CCATP). She obtained these credentials to meet the needs of the many who are suffering in silence. To ensure you are provided with the best level of care. Shannon uses Trauma as well as Nuero-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); but is experienced with several treatment modalities.
Shannon fully believes in and intentionally provides a Holistic Approach (Body-Mind-Soul-Spirit) to Mental Health Therapy. While honoring your unique strengths, gifts, and abilities, she will practice culturally sensitive techniques to support and guide you on your healing journey.
Shannon’s passion is to promote Mental Health as apart of overall health and wellness spectrum. Shannon endeavors to invite all of humanity to wholeness. Outside of the therapy room, Shannon enjoys spending time with loved ones, creating meaningful memories, traveling the world, and exploring the wonders of life.
