Hi! My name is Dr. Shari Barfield, but most people call me Dr. Shari. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama and Tennessee, with almost 20 years of professional work experience. I earned a doctorate in human services and have a masters in clinical mental health counseling. I hold the National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Human Services-Board Certified Practitioner credentials. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My first meeting with Dr. Shari was what I needed to weed out the different voices in my head and listen to my own intuition about a dating situation. I felt heard and validated. It was such an easy process to get in touch and set up an appointment with her.
