About me

Sometimes, we find ourselves on an unfamiliar road and traveling towards a frightening future. We fear what may lie before us because the road is dark. Going back is not an option; going forward is strange and fearful. We feel stuck, lost, lonely--and hurting. If this is your experience, you don't have to navigate the journey alone. Sense the possibility of someone coming along side you who is gifted in the art of healing, someone skilled and compassionate.

Counseling helps you understand those parts of yourself that keep you stuck and frustrated. I teach skills to stop anxiety before it morphs into panic attacks, clarify your values and goals, and deal with barriers that block your joy in life.

You'll learn in the very first session that relief is possible. My mission is to help people create, develop better everyday lives that nurture their spirit, strengthen their relationships, and heal their wounds.

I am a licensed professional counselor serving adults, ages 30-105, in the state of Texas. After 25 years in corporate management, I earned a BA in psychology from the University of North Texas and my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Argosy University at Dallas. After graduating from these programs, I continued developing my professional knowledge and skills in gerontology and integrative medicine to support adults living with chronic medical conditions and aging issues impacting their daily lives, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.

My approach to counseling/therapy is holistic and collaborative.

She is awesome. One thing I really like about her style is that she gets straight to the point but remains thorough and informative. I also like the referrals to books she gives and hands on assignments.
