About me

I am an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Southern Ohio with over 10 years experience in direct patient care. I have worked with clients with a wide array of needs or concerns including depression, trauma, anxiety, parenting difficulty, personality disorders, abuse and neglect, as well as psychotic disorders.

My therapy style is open and interactive. Openness, compassion, honesty, and respect for each person and their beliefs is paramount in a successful treatment experience. Therapy is a joint venture between therapist and client where we explore what solutions and interventions work best for you. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy and cookie cutter treatment planning is not what I do. I have many theoretical approaches however most used are cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and solution focused brief therapy. The best practices will be utilized based on your unique needs.

Miss Sharon is truly amazing. She has helped me so much more than she knows with my journey. I suffer from a lot of mental illnesses and was diagnosed with a new one that explained a lot of my other issues. She helped me understand it and cope with it and learn how to live with my problems in a healthy manner. She is very knowledgeable and considerate. My favorite thing was that she knew how to get straight to point and how to help me identify things for myself and to communicate better. I am very thankful to have come across her as a therapist.
