Greetings! I am a native New Orleanian, whose studies and career have taken me tp New York, California, Texas and before returning home. As a result of the travel, I have had a variety of experiences in a variety of settings, including community mental health center, non-profits and schools. I received my Master's in Social Work/Direct Services from Tulane University. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, I have worked with individuals and groups, families, adults and children. Much of my focus, has been on issues including: stress and anxiety management; anger management and self-esteem development. In addition, I have extensive, specialized training in parenting issues, grief and loss , substance addictions, disaster recovery, aging, custody issues and healthy communications within relationships. My clinical orientations combine client-centered, solutions-focused, individualized therapy, resulting from active compassionate listening. I believe in engaging clients in a caring, respectful manner.
