In my 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I've found that when people seek help they're often at their most frustrated, sad, angry, or confused. We can feel lost, alone, and believe others can never really understand how tiring it is to act okay & always be strong when there is only pain & chaos going on inside of us. Maybe you are to the point where you just don't have the energy to do the things you want to do or even used to enjoy doing. You may be struggling with deep emotions or conflicts in your family, and no one else understands. Maybe the confusion and stress is so great that you don’t even know how to put it into words. Therapy is a safe place where you can learn more about who you are, and learn the skills to get you where you want to be in life. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or significant life changes. My approach in therapy is meeting you where you are emotionally, and assisting you in setting & achieving your goals. We will work as a team, and use your strengths to develop more constructive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My treatment approach combines cognitive-behavioral, rational emotive, and motivational interviewing techniques, all geared toward assisting you in becoming the person you want to be. It takes courage to seek out help and work towards making changes. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you to make the changes you desire.

Very attentive. Very caring and understanding
Sherida has been great to talk to, extremely professional and a huge help in figuring out how to tackle some complicated post-pandemic emotions. I would absolutely recommend working with her to anyone dealing with trauma or a challenging life event.
Sherida is a fantastic therapist. Really understands and is able to get me thinking about my experiences. She asks questions that make me look at things in a different way. Every session is valuable, helpful and usually revelatory (for me at least!) She really is very good

This has been my first counselling experience and Sherida has been great to work with. She listens, asks good questions and gives insightful advice. Thank you for your help Sherida!
Sherida has been so accommodating, lovely, easy to speak to and supportive. I feel as though we’ve been able to get on well and talk through issues candidly while she gives considerate and thoughtful advice.
I really like to work with Sherida. The first therapist who i can trust, helps through with my problems/struggles and i am always looking forward to our new session.
Sherida is the first therapist I’ve ever worked with and it has been an amazing experience. She is a great listener and asks questions that make me think constructively about the obstacles im facing. Her support has reduced my stress greatly and being able to speak with her throughout the covid-19 pandemic has been vital to my mental health. Thanks Sherida!
A lovely and smart woman who makes me feel like I’m conversing to my close friends mom which is very comforting. So far Sherida has made me think of my actions and ideas in a different perspective and is guiding me to a healthier mind set.
I had just one session with Sherida but we kicked it off good. It's easy to talk with her and she gave me some nice tips to quickly try to address my issues.
Amazing, insightful, and incredibly helpful.
Sherida is excellent!
