About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker i Virginia with over 20 years of experience working as a Psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, woman's issues, career challenges, OCD. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma and abuse issues.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I believe that everyone needs to experience the power of what being in therapy does in a person's life. Therapy should not be a difficult process, it should be an enjoyable and refreshing experience. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and solution focused therapy. I will taylor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
