Hello and welcome! My name is Sherry Haynes, I have a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology and am fully licensed in the state of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have 8 years of experience in counseling with an additional 16 years in the human services field working with youth and their families. My training has focused on the treatment of self-esteem/confidence, depression, anxiety, social/relationship issues, and trauma. In today's busy world it's important to take time for yourself, each of our sessions will be person-centered and unique. I use Evidence-Based Practices during our sessions using a combination of, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy (TFCBT) and EMDR. Together we will create and individualize a treatment plan. I understand your unique complexities of family, work and relationship struggles. Sherry has been wonderful. I’ve only been working with her for a short time, but she makes me feel heard and supported. I love that she checks in regularly and leaves the door open.

Sherry is very clear in her communication asking incisive questions with clarity but without painful directness. I feel very comfortable sharing with her and confident in her ability to parse out the important bits to focus on. She listens to my preferences and is incredibly supportive
