Sherry Johnson, LMFT
About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in California with over 20 years experience. I have worked in severe mental health populations throughout my career, including maximum security prisons, and homeless populations. Additionally, I have worked with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship problems, career challenges and body/weight or chronic physical health issues.
My style is very direct, but warm and interactive. I will offer you a variety of perspectives on your current situation, to help you determine how best for YOU to move forward to better health.
I believe treating all clients with respect, compassion and no judgement. My approaches are very eclectic, combining Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Didactical Behavior Therapy and extensive work with EMDR and Crisis Incident Debriefing. I utilize all of these approaches to individualize treatment plans for my clients.
I look forward to working with you!
